I'd like to think that they're both constantly exhausted from their work that when they finally do get to spend some alone time together after work, they fall asleep. I'd think little moments like this are cherished because of their busy schedules and that it'd be really really really really hard to get back up in the morning out of bed with each other. I see late mornings of

"We're gonna be late, Riv."

"I'm the boss. We can be late."

Rivet is definitely a little spoon and the affection makes her flustered (hence the scribbled hearts).
