i could say a lot of things about this. Wouldn't know where to start...let me try. I often don't write critiques because they take so damn long and I'd rather be doing something else but here I go.
The he owl is amazing however the thing that takes center stage is the way yo did the moonlight, moon radiation, however it's called. That's what's most awesome about this drawing. It's done so well it looks like it jumps out of the page! Appears 3D!
it competes with the owl but at the same time it doesn't compete...it harmonizes with it. There is amazing balance in composition.

No, I am not an illustrator. I am an agronomy student, but I like illustration indeed.

I've know many students from other concentrations that took art class with me.
Alot of talent outside the art department.
Have you taken any art courses as an elective?
And which ones?
I have a friend who graduated from Agronomy but went back to school to study Animation and that's what she does now.

yes, I have taken two art courses: illustration and landscape drawing. I really liked them!

Take more art classes, you're very good.
But also finish your Agronomy degree.
It comes in handy when you are extra prepared.
It's not impossible to make a living in art.
You can but it's not easy. But you still can.
In the meantime, it's good to have back-up.
You do need to eat.
I do see you with a huge future in the arts.
