Absolutely!

It surprised me when Kasma sent me the email about it.  One of my earliest stories was for an anthology where the authors wrote to illustrations - Visual Journeys: a Tribute to Space Artists - but this was a sweet novelty.  Art created to one of my works.  So cool, let me say!

Thank you so much! I know I shouldn't be, but I'm kind of saddened by the fact that lately not many deviants seem to appreciate the stuff I post. :/ Maybe it's because it's not fanart, or maybe because I've been away too long and my watchers don't remember me anymore.
Even two digital groups declined this pic, though I was quite happy with it and I don't see why.
Oh well, I have my own rewards in real life, so I won't be here complaining any more. But still, I'm glad that you are still interested in taking a look at my work.

I wouldn't take having your work declined by a group too personally, especially if they use a voting system to accept art. I've had plenty of my stuff declined...and this was after a group invited me to join.

If it makes you feel any better, I feel sad too when I post original art and get very little response to it. #artist woes
