I loved this ending so much that it inspired me to paint this sort of "bonus after-credits still" thinking of the robot communion touch, in this case a symbolic gesture of union between men and androids to live in peace and build a better world together. (with or without romantic implications, as you see fit - I personally like to think so because they are cute together 💙 )
Anyone who’s known me for a while knows I’ve been down the train of the human/robot detective partners relationship since Asimov’s Elijah and Daneel, and the whole possibility of a C/Fe culture always fascinated me. Detroit Become Human only perpetrates my primordial fascination in a very fanserviceable way and of this I can only be grateful. xD

how much of this is a painting and how much of this is 3D?

There is no 3D, just regular painting and some of photobashing from screenshots to make it look closer to the actual scene. I can't 3D to save my life, in all honesty. xD

If you mean a video lapse, I still haven't gotten around doing those, I tried some software but it looked too complicate to use so I lost interest. @_@ Any advice on one that is good and simple?
If you are interested I could take a couple of WIP shots from my psd file (I often pile up old layers). That is, when my monitor comes back from the assistance and I can turn my workstation on again.

i recommend OBS, its extremely simple to use if you just want to record what your doing. tons of easy youtube tutorials for it, thats what i mostly use it for its also known for streaming but if you have shitty internet OBS wouldnt be good for streaming. and yea mind sending me some wip? id love to see how yuo did this

I have upoaded what WIPs i could get from my psd file:
It doesn't contain every step cause I had painted stuff on the same layer... but I hope it's clear enough. Mostly it's just a lot of painting and airbrushing and applying a few textures photobashed from the screenshots (the details on the back of connor's jacket for example).

I love the meaning behind this! That ending is definitely the best and so full of feels..
What really gets me is your art style here though cause I honestly thought you'd edited a screenshot or set this up with the in-game models or something. It looks that much like the game with maybe a filter or something that you had me fooled until I read the description!
