Just practicing different styles. Lt. Commander Data: realistic, manga and cartoon. Which one do you prefer? XDI drew the first sketch some time ago while I was watching for the second time "The most toys", the episode when a collector of rarities abducts Data and keeps him as a piece of his collection. I love that episode and how that lilac suit looked on Data. He always wears the StarFleet uniform. The collector forced him to wear that suit corroding his uniform with some sort of acid. (but I also liked the idea of seeing him naked XD You know, in another episode - Datalore, when they are in Soong's lab on Omicron Theta, we see Lore's disassembled *naked* pieces, including his quite...mmm ...hard and tempting bottom. I think that all the fangirls then wondered: being Data identical to Lore, Data's bottom must be like that *_* OMGFLROASODIHBQW

ADORO i cartoni animati, ma non lo stile della maggior parte dei cartoni di Cartoon Netowrk. Continuo a preferire i cartoni giapponesi (non tutti, ovvio: girano certe schifezze...), o al massimo MASSIMO MASSIMO, la Disney (un tempo, non adesso che fan tutto in digitale).

Io invece ho iniziato a detestare i cartoni animati e i fumetti giapponesi, sembra incredibile ma è così. Tranne ovviamente i prodotti di qualità, ma sono veramente pochissimi. Quando vado in fumetteria e vedo tutte le nuove pubblicazioni manga, le sfoglio e mi chiedo: "Ma sta gente non si rende conto che stanno rileggendo lo stesso minestrone rivoltato da un bel po' di anni a questa parte???" Perchè è da veramente TANTO che il manga non produce più nulla di originale. Stessa grafica, stesse storie, che già non erano particolarmente originali all'inizio, figuriamoci adesso... Bha, mi viene il voltastomaco a pensarci.

Anch'io non riesco più a trovare in fumetteria qualcosa che mi piace veramente, qualcosa che abbia quel zik di originale che mi fa venire voglia di comprarlo!
Temevo fosse un problema solo mio, del tipo "sto crescendo"...!

Come te, anch'io sostanzialmente sono affezionata ai "vecchi cult" e basta.
Io spero che sia solo un periodo, anche i fumetti seguono mode e filoni. Magari in futuro tornerà a uscire qualcosa che mi piace.
Nel frattempo continuo a seguire praticamente solo Berserk, Vagabond e a rileggere quelli vecchi...

Ti posso dare un consiglio, se vuoi. Non c'è solo il manga. In questo periodo di "caduta" del manga ho scoperto tantissimi altri generi, tra cui l'europeo, bonelli, americano alla michael turner, francese ecc ecc....... e soprattutto ti consiglio quelli un po' più particolari, tipo i cartonati. Ce ne sono veramente di bellissimi, e sono sconosciuti, oscurati da quella cagata di manga che arrivano a frotte e ci nascondono quanto c'è di bello nelle cose "di casa". ^__^ Uno che mi è piaciuto veramente tantissimo è Blacksad. E anche i fumetti di Bilal e Skydoll.

Beh, di fumetti italiani ne leggo già tanti, ma hai ragione, devo "guardarmi in giro". La prossima volta che vado in fumetteria mi faccio un BEL giro dettagliato...

Honestly, I like the manga and the cartoon one. But the realistic one has it's own qualities. ....or maybe it's just because they're all of Data.
I did think he looked really nice in that lilac suit thingie, but I wanted to see him nekked!!

Yes, well, I can't even draw him, really, so I write about him a bit. Sadly, I don't think I do him justice so I never post anything with him in it....in fact, I usually get fed up about halfway through and throw it away.
If it's going to be full of Data's I might have to start watching you.

I understand it: sometimes I tried to write fanfics or fancomics too, but it always ended up with nothing.

(Anyway I'm a bit disillusioned about watchers, since I noticed almost everybody who watches me never come again to see my new pics. -.- I mean, I have a lot watchers but something like 10 of them really take a look at my work. T_T X°D)

I like the realistic one the best, the manga one is quite adorable, and oh! You like that episode too? I swear, that lilac suit was very fetching on him.

I prefer the cartoonish one, dunno why. Anyway it's nice to see him in different clothes, in the holodeck for example, but you would never expect that a color like lilac is so good on him! XD

Anyways I've been thinking about that thing of the lilac suit... and I believe that color may look so unexpectedly good on him because lilac is a shade of purple, that is the complementary colour of yellow, Data's eye colour.
