Just practicing different styles. Lt. Commander Data: realistic, manga and cartoon. Which one do you prefer? XDI drew the first sketch some time ago while I was watching for the second time "The most toys", the episode when a collector of rarities abducts Data and keeps him as a piece of his collection. I love that episode and how that lilac suit looked on Data. He always wears the StarFleet uniform. The collector forced him to wear that suit corroding his uniform with some sort of acid. (but I also liked the idea of seeing him naked XD You know, in another episode - Datalore, when they are in Soong's lab on Omicron Theta, we see Lore's disassembled *naked* pieces, including his quite...mmm ...hard and tempting bottom. I think that all the fangirls then wondered: being Data identical to Lore, Data's bottom must be like that *_* OMGFLROASODIHBQW

I prefer the realistic one, but I have to say, looking at these, my style looks like a cross between your real and your cartoon.

Well, I love all of 'em. The realistic is beautiful, the manga one is, well, I'm an HUUUGE Otaku ><, no more to add, and the cartoon one has beter coloring, so, uhm. Don't ask me.

L'ho scoperto solo 3 anni fa e riesco a fare disegni decenti solo da due (sono cresciuta a Disney XD )

C'è sempre tempo per conoscere nuove cose, mica uno si deve subito gettare sulle cose che vanno di moda! Io per esempio Star Trek l'ho iniziato a guardare ora per la prima volta, ma c'era da prima che io nascessi! X°D Il problema semmai è che si rischia di rimanere fissati sulle stesse cose, perchè sono quelle più commerciali, più "pop", quelle che ti imboccano a forza le case editrici e la pubblicità, e si ignora tutto quello che non passa sotto i riflettori.

Hai perfettamente ragione...una mia amica mi ha fatto scoprire alcune pubblicazioni un po "di nicchia " e devo dire che si scoprono delle cose fantastiche! Io stessa ho da poco scoperto Skydoll (e non è esattamente il fumetto piu pubblicizzato di questo mondo, anzi se non fosse per internet non avrei mai saputo della sua esistenza -_-' )

Eggià! ^_^ E quello è relativamente piuttosto conosciuto, rispetto ad altri, dato che i creatori sono fumettisti famosi della disney italia.
Parlando di cartonati, io adoro Blacksad e gli ultimi di Enki Bilal, su cui è anche stato fatto un film, Immortal ad Vitam, non so se lo conosci.

E' colorato stupendamente e le storie sono per niente scontate.
Questa invece è la cover di un fumetto di Bilal: [link] . Fa dei fumetti molto particolari, dalle storie molto ermetiche e disegni eleganti, con degli accostamenti di colore stupendi e una colorazione che definirei "sperimentale" e di grande effetto. Io ho letto la "trilogia Nikopol" (da cui è stato tratto il film Immortal) e la trilogia più recente, che poi è diventata una quadrilogia, e non ho capito bene come si intitola. Mi sembra ke il primo volume si chiamasse "il sonno del mostro" ma non sono sicura.

Ho cercato altre immagini..i disegni di entrambi sono davvero stupendi! Che genere di fumetti disegna Enki Bilal? Fantascienza?
Mi piacerebbe procurarmi almeno un volume di Blacksad per vedere come sono le storie..sono difficili da reperire?
P.S. Stiamo occupando tutto lo spazio dei commenti del tuo disegno ^_^' Non ho ancora ben capito come funzionino queste cose su DA..spero non ci siano problemi.

Dipende, io li ho trovati facilmente in fumetteria. Se hai una fumetteria ben fornita dalle tue parti, non ti dovrebbe essere difficile.

I for one hate Manga/Anime per se and cartoon style isn't my things either (although I like the Star Trek: Countdown comic with Data as captain (!)) - I love the realistic one best, therefore. As for Data's 'butt', or Lore's, if you only knew how much of that is in my Descent story - or even more so in the upcoming AU bondage, BDSM, torture and mega sex saga I'm still hammering away at...

I noticed the DataButt too when I was watching that episode! Well, okay, it was Lore's butt, but that must be what Data's looks like.
I can't decide which of these styles I like the most. They're all fantastic.
