In the world where a cosmic 'Event' has killed most of the women, and male volunteers are needed to replace them, the Fountains of Youth are mysterious pools of radiation that effect the change. Nice work, PL. I was never a fan of the whole Stepford idea, though, so if it was gonna be me I'd want to keep the feminist part. Being a woman should be a step up in the world, in both status and power, and subservient to no one. But that's just me.Β

Thanks Amanda! Ideally I'd agree with you. But the whole background and subtext to this series is the men in power using this opportunity to create a society where women are beautiful - but submissive towards men, without turning them into robots. I shouldn't worry though, their brainwashing techniques are so efficient you'll be quite happy serving your new lord and master, with only a few twinges of regretΒ Β

I hear ya. I know that the whole submissive thing is a popular trope, not just in the TG community but among a fair number of women as well. Not my cup of tea though. If that last sentence refers to my captions, I'll take that as a compliment, as there's quite a variety of men who have volunteered for the STEPFORD programme. But there's always the underlying theme of those in power taking the opportunity to turn the clock back and produce women who are dutiful, happy - and subservient.Β
