Is the game going to have characters looking like this? I think it'd be a cool way to like, show power ups. Like, this could be the mid level with that lined paper background, the next level up can be like, full ink and shade, and the final could be color~

yeah the characters are all sketchy, the point partially being a style thing and also to save time on animation because only one of us can animate (and not very well) so right now probably gonna steer away from doing anything too clean and finished

Well, if you have stuff already animated, clean up wouldn't be too hard, it's essentially be tracing; but I see where you're coming from on that.
