Im sure there are ways that don't need to be paid for ;u;
ive been using the (free) trial version of painttool SAI for like, 2-ish years, and have been able to do somewhat decent things v:

i want to get SAI so badly but i can never seem to. people tell me they got it for free and send me the link where they got it and it never works for me

I'd click 'allow' (or whatever it says lol), i think thats just your computer's anti-virus/protection thing making sure you want to do it. It sounds spooki, but ive had no harm yet. you should be safe P:

ok, i finished the download and it's on my desktop. i tried to open it but an error thing popped up saying

"SAI cannot complete set up process because current user does not have administrator right. Please launch SAI with one of the following way.
-Right click a shortcut named 'PaintTool Sai Ver.1' on desktop or sai.exe -> [Run as Administrator]"

If i remember correctly, i think you do 'run as administrator' when you right click it on your desktop. If that doesn't work, you could try looking up how to run it? Its been a while since ive done this, sorry xD

AHH THATS GREAT!! : D

That basically means itll let you "use" it for a day. However i found a way to get around it. After the trial ends, you wont be able to save anything, but you should still be able to make new canvases and stuff. What I do is I make my piece, then take a screencap of my screen with the image in the center. (theres a keyboard button called 'print screen'. you can always look up other ways to screenshot, it just what i use) Then i open a blank MS paint canvas and click paste. Then i crop it so only the image is left, save it, and kabing kaboom its saved! It sounds lengthy but its so worth it in the end :3
