Uhm, I'm not sure about this one...People suggested colouring the picture - so I did. Only after I decided that I will, I realised: OK, I'm about to color a character with WHITE hair, WHITE shirt and undefined eye color ><
Yep, D.Gray-man is still only a manga, and I couldn't find a site saying what is his eye color. Well, on part of original color images he has blue eyes, on part of them - red... So I choose blue
The color palette - Allen DOES have that kind of darkish skin. As for eyes and shirt - well, on official colores pics were in that kind of palette, and I thought it cool... NO BG, because it didn't fit.
I coulored it in CpenCanvas 1 (or 1.1..., well, something with ones anyway), and that way soft-shadng was better... Maybe I should go for cell-shading?
Well, anyway, it's the "you asked for it, now deal with it" picture.

Ooh, I love how soft and smooth your coloring style is. The skin coloring is so well-blended ^^ I also like the detail in the hair. The lineart's so smooth and pretty and looks a lot like the character. Great pic ^^

Hm - this is great! Really! I like the pic coloured even better! This eye-thingie is strange - not only has he a sign on his strange eye, but als a pentagram above it and a corss + blitz under it - isn't it to overemphesized? I know an exorcist and a mian character should have his strange thins, but this is overdone IMHO.
Nevertheless the pic and colouring are very, very nice. GJ Pinky!

The eye thingy - well, I dodn't design the character, you know... besides, normally you see only the pentagram and the lightning-thingy under it (it's a scar), and it goes lie THAT *points up* when it's activated (too much to expalin).

Love it. Good choice with the blue eyes, red definitely would have thrown the whole thing off. I say, don't attempt to cel-shade this one; soft shading looks sooo good. Good enough to eat, in fact ^.~
