I know the term was coined before Saint-Saens used it as the tile for his G minor suite. Β Still, I think the title is apt for what you drew here: Β a serial killer and a headless ballerina, roses sprouting from her headless neck like Pegasus did from Medusa's. Β Hmm... I wish Stefano had a piece of recognizable classical music associated with him; I like the theme they chose for/composed for him, but "Danse Macabre" would have been fitting.

Oh my! Thank you for your wonderful and kind words ^_^ If I'm not wrong, Stefano's "theme" is Serenade for String in C major, Op 48 by Tchaikovsky, so je kind of has one I guess? XD But yes, I would have liked Danse Macabre as his theme too XD anyways, I named this drawing after that infamous piece because when I listened to the very first part of it, I imagined Stefano as Death getting ready to make another "masterpiece" on a woman and then, when all stops and the violin remains that's where he contemplates his fine piece by dancing with it! Again, thank you for your words!
