To be fair I think this was before Marco and Jackie became a couple. Also if they were then Marco would come off as a jerk cause he would have left his gf without saying goodbye if he didn't go back.

I'm a Starco fan, and even I was wondering that. I'm like, whoa Marco has a girlfriend. If that relationship fails on its own, I'll be happy. But Jackie is with Marco for the moment, and I respect that. After all Star, you set them up. I accept that you're basically an alien, and you have no concept of Earth relationships, but you can't set someone up, then have remorse. If you wanted Marco, you should have taken your shots. Like I said, I support Starco but I want it to happen because of natural events; not because Star is the main character.Β

You know the problem in theri relation ship isn't that Star didn't make her move or any thingh like this. It's because she's because she' afraid whats happen next. Look, lets say that in one episode they somehow get togetrer, Star said she have a Crush, Marco feel smae, they are a Copule, Huray!
But Star is 14 in her age Thru Love is something EXTRYMLY RARE AND SHEΒ KNOW THAT. She know that she have a difrent Crush evry week and she know that if she will be together with Marco then there is this highly posybility that after time this feeling fade away or even something just screw up
and this is how she loos her thru best friend she ever had. She set him up with Jackie because she simply knew that she make him happy and she wanted him to be happy.Even If that's mean that she can't have him in this way. She care about him that much.

Yes, I've realized since I posted this, that Star is a teen, and teens don't know what they want. It's complex, and hard to navigate, feelings when you develop them. Star was struggling to figure things out, which yeah, most people do when they realize that there might be something deeper there. I guess what I'm saying, is I did mess up in my original post. I do realize that Star was struggling, and I do realize that she tried to pretend that everything was okay. So I apologize if my original statement was not conveyed in the way it should have been.Β
