I''ll come straight to the point: what i like most about your photo is that it leaves so much for the viewer to think about. OK, you give a direction with the title, but the rest is imagination. Good work here. I like it.

Damn the small resolution and high contrast! Great composition, but this would have worked so much better if it was taken with something (film or digi) with a greater dynamic range.
Nevertheless, great work with light - those shadows on the road are damn sinister! Good atmosphere too

Great tone, I've only seen it used once (by me). I think the high contrast and grain works really well too.
There's so much expression in the people, I can read a different mindset/character in each of them. *
As for the title, the people on the left look like a real mean bunch, and the guy right of them has a brooding expresion ("I'm gonna go over and kill ya " ) , the other seem to be walking away from the photographer (although, after abusing him/her?)
The cityscape even, oozes with setting.
The one thing that annoys me is the lamp (with an odd blackness around it) in the upper center of the pic...except for that I find nothing wrong whatsoever with this, a true masterpiece.
After looking at it so long, I'm now wondering what the light in the center is coming from, from the size of it I'd think a train...
