Backstory: Nightfall was a lively filly that always had a knack for exploring things that piqued her curiosity. She spent a lot of time outdoors and when her parents would instruct her not to explore a place she usually would find a way to sneak out and fulfill her desire to view the unseen. One of these places she had ventured into at a young age was the Everfree forest. The atmosphere there was unique in comparison to the other places she had been and she was oblivious to the many dangers that surrounded her. She had placed a poison joke flower in her mane admiring its vibrant color. Upon returning home her parents made her remove the flower and lectured her about the effects of poison joke and how costly it would be to get a potion to cure it. Even though her parents had anticipated wacky effects the small earth mare displayed no symptoms as days went on. This unique immunity against the flower urged her to return to the forest in which she slowly overtime built a clubhouse up in a tree. In this secluded comfort zone she would take samples of specimens from the forest to observe them. She would write notes about them and after accidentally falling asleep there for the night she woke up with her cutie mark of a poison joke flower. This symbolized her rebellion and passion for exploration of the unknown. After she moved out to live on her own she modernized her clubhouse in the Everfree forest and made it into a fully functional home in the trees to where she still resides.

Personality: Nightfall loves to joke around and be the cause of another's laughter. She likes to create an enjoyable atmosphere for those around her and is fairly optimistic. She had very few friends growing up, but even despite of that she's very open to the idea of meeting new ponies.
