Since the weather refuses to lighten up, I am forced to produce a sombre-toned photograph. I hate the winter, just look at that dark veil of cloud...
I know I recently did an umbrella piece, and I know umbrellas are ridiculously over-used in conceptual photography. There is a reason for that though; umbrellas are awesome. There should be a stamp in support of umbrellas... (someone make one!)
Anyway, this is my brother modeling for me once again, as I apparently have no friends.
Photoshop for levels, channel mixing, dodging/burning, noise reduction and cropping.

This is fantastic from start to finish. My one critique is the composition. I feel like there's too much negative space around him, like crop in on the top and bottom a little bit. I think that should tighten up the image.

Its like he's portraying "I'm falling, but that's cool with me." mood. You did the burning really well with photoshop. The background gives the feel that everything is dismal but there is light burning behind the misery.
