WIP.....RWBY entry. The only info you get about Velvet is that shes a 'mage' and 'athletic' so make an athletic design mage costume which is inline with design with RWBY characters.
i already planned ahead not to put capes in the earlier design, because her hair was already long. but i put the cape along since i needed to place the Carrot+ Fluer de lis idea. and its more 'mage'-like :3

Regarding the costume itself, I think it would be good if the cape has a quick-release catch and Velvet has this habit of dramatically tossing the cape aside as she goes into battle.
