Saleen S7RSaleen introduced the S7, the first true American supercar. The Saleen S7Rβs 7-liter racing V8 generates 600 horsepower and is capable of speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour. With its extreme ground effects engineering, the car could be driven upside down at 160 mph and still stay attached to the road !!
Vector | Illustrator CS2 | 20+ hrs
Well this is my most complex vector piece so far. Took about 3 weeks on and off to complete, glad it is finally done.
No mesh on this one, just normal fill, gradients and blends.

Very nice work.Β One of my personal favorite cars is the Porsche Carrera GT which is one of the most beautiful cars ever built. This car also inspired me for a painting in Adobe Illustrator (2-D, using no mesh/no grid for gradients) from another interesting angle. See here: exotic-legends.deviantart.com/β¦

I usually don't like cars, and have nothing to do with them, including art. However, this vector is amazing! When I clicked on this I honestly couldn't believe it was a vector! Keep up the great work!

but with the new transparent gradient feature in illustrator cs5, we could use that to replace this blending technique..
