Description This is for a scene in my story that I haven't written yet, but have planned. In summary: Erik lets Madame Giry's job as box attendant be taken away, to show Meg what control he has over her life, and threatens to lose Mme Giry her position as ballet instructor if Meg doesn't mind her own business and help Chrisine like him. Upon Christine's return to the above-ground Opera, Meg helps Erik by telling C that Erik must be an angel, to have the talent and the face she describes, because aren't Angels dead? Anyway, she re-convinces C that Erik is an angel, not a man, and Erik is pleased. (Why C still is all "Angel of Father" in the graveyard scene, in case that confused you in the movie.) Meg feels completely awful with herself for betraying her friend, and is huddled on her bed being angry at herself, and Erik sneaks up behind her and puts his gloved hands on her shoulders, enjoying the power her shudder gives him as he hisses in her ear in that angelic, demonic voice, "Well done. Very well done indeed."

Firstly, I absolutely LOVE the backstory, it's amazing. Very in-character, which a lot of people seem to have a hard time doing.

Secondly, the drawing itself is also wonderful. I love how broken Meg looks, and how emotional you were able to make it with just black and white crosshatching.

Faving!

Poor Erik, and poor Christine, and definitely poor Meg!

I <3 Meg and Erik ^^. They're my favourite ALW Phantom pairing. It just seems to work out so much better than Erik and Christine...I'm not sure exactly how, but it makes sense in my mind XD. Thanks for the watch, I'm adding you back. And I really like your avatar. It's very funny ^^.

Oh, thank you! Yes, huge phan. I actually read Susan Kay's Phantom first, then the Leroux novel, but I also liked the musical movie. All so much that I'm writing my own version combining the three.

I'm lame, I know.

Oooooh! I like how her eyes are shadowed out as she's looking down. Plus I can totally feel the emotion of the picture.
