Ranus lay in bed with Nero that night Dante was trying to save up enough money so he could buy a bed for Ranus since he and Nero had to share one at the moment. He had just wasted his money previously buying one for Vergil so now he needed one for Ranus. He couldn’t just kick the boy out he had no where to go. Ranus tossed in turned he was having another one of his nightmares. Nero woke and stared at his brother wondering what was wrong with him. Nero then felt something wet on his chest he got up and turned on the light and his eyes widened at what he saw. There was blood all over the bed. He hurried over to his brother and tore open his shirt making Ranus shiver from the cold air. Nero’s eyes widened what seemed like humanly possible at what was the cause of the blood. “DANTE!!!” Nero shouted and ran to go get the elder hunter and his brother. Nero was concerned when Ranus didn’t move from the sound of his voice and because Ranus was paler than a ghost. Ranus started to whimper and whine in his sleep and Nero wondered what was wrong with his brother.

The thirteen year old’s head flew painfully to the side as Kizo gave him another punch. “IF YOU WON’T OBEY ME THEN YOU’LL GET MUCH WORSE THEN THIS!!!” Ranus sniffled he hurt soo bad right now and he tried to hold back the tears cause Kizo usually beat him for crying he hoped he’d let it slide just this once, but sure enough Kizo smiled evilly. “What’s this now? Tears? Am I being to hard on you boy?” Ranus grunted as Kizo lifted him up off the ground by the hair. “We’ll have to fix that won’t we?” Kizo dragged Ranus into another room with a table in the middle of it. Ranus’ eyes watched curiously as Kizo put him back on his feet. “Take your clothes off.” Kizo said firmly. “What?” Ranus’ eyes widened wondering why this monster wanted him to take his clothes off. Kizo growled in anger and Ranus quickly took his shirt and pants off and stood just in his boxer shorts. “All of your clothes.” Kizo chuckled. Ranus hesitated but took the rest of his clothing with more tears threatening to come out of his eyes. He felt humiliated and ashamed. He looked at and sniffled again. Kizo then disappeared and Ranus felt dreadfully afraid. He’d much rather see him coming at him than him sneaking up on him, but before Ranus knew it he was grabbed from behind and pulled to the table and forced onto it. Ranus screamed and kicked but it was no use he was no where near as strong as the demon man even with his arm devil arm he was no match for him. The tears finely couldn’t be contained and they spilled from his eyes. Soon he Kizo had the poor boy pinned onto the table easily special clasps on his writs and ankles. “Please let me go! I didn’t do anything!!” Ranus pleaded. Ranus squirmed and wiggled trying desperately to get free but he couldn’t. Kizo laughed at the boy’s struggles. He called a few demons in one of them brought a hot iron poker. Ranus’ eyes widened and he started to struggle again. The demon handed Kizo the hot metal object and Ranus noticed it had the numbers 28210 on it. Ranus could guess what was going to happen next and he was right as Kizo began to lower the hot metal to his stomach just below the belly button and Ranus continued to struggle only he couldn’t budge the clasps were too strong. Ranus felt the burning pain of the metal and he screamed as loud as he could more tears poured out of his eyes and Kizo growled angry that the boy was crying and he started to press the hot iron into the soft flesh making Ranus scream louder. “Stop it! Please!!” Ranus begged. Kizo simply laughed at the boy’s screams of pain. He motioned for another demon to come over to him. This demon had a vial of liquid which he handed to Kizo. Kizo removed the iron so he could see if the boy would finely listen to him. “Open your mouth.” Kizo said roughly. Ranus simply stared at the bluish green bubbling liquid in the bottle and he shook his head. “Please don’t…” The mutated demon man growled and stabbed the sharp end of the iron poker in Ranus’ lower stomach right on his burning skin and then widened the wound and then stuck the hot iron inside it burning the poor boy’s insides making him squirm and whimper like mad showing his discomfort. Kizo started to dig the iron into his insides deeper and Ranus finely gave in he opened his mouth slightly. “Wider.” Was all Kizo said and he pulled the hot metal out of Ranus’ body. Making the boy cough up some blood but he opened his mouth wider like Kizo had ordered him to. Kizo motioned for one of his strongest demons to come over to them. The demon grinned revealing sharp teeth and he grabbed a tuft of Ranus’ holding onto it tightly but not pulling. He then lowered the other hand to Ranus’ bottom jaw in case Ranus tried to close his mouth. Kizo grinned evilly and popped the vial’s cap. Ranus watched helplessly as the monster before him tipped the vial down and poured the liquid into his mouth. Ranus’ eyes widened and he tried to spit it out but the demon hanging over him yanked hard on his hair and grabbed his jaw forcing it to stay open. Ranus chomped down on the demons hand and Kizo slapped him hard across the face giving him a bloody nose. The demon recovered and grabbed hold of him his hair and jaw again pulling harder on his hair. Ranus tried to scream but it was choked by the liquid being poured down his throat. It tasted bitter and it was burning his throat like fire. Finely the demon let go and Kizo stood and grinned as Ranus started to get dizzy which was showing quite well as his eyes started to droop and his body started to twitch. Ranus’ eyes started to glow crimson and he started to feel sick. He burned all over inside even the inside of his nose burned. Tears started up again and he got another punch to the face. “The point of this was to show you that crying is for the weak!! You are weak boy!!! But this will toughen you up…and you will work for me am I understood!!!” Ranus quickly nodded and Kizo grinned and the demon that had been holding his mouth open walked out of the room but came back a few minutes later with some sort of gun. Kizo smiled wickedly and loaded the gun with something. Ranus watched curiously as Kizo came back then his eyes widened with fear. “Please…don’t do this…I’ll do whatever you say I swear!!!” Kizo chuckled and lowered the gun to Ranus’ neck. “Don’t worry this won’t kill you this will just stay in your body until it is de-activated.” “W-What’s it do?” Ranus squeaked. “This little device will implant a chip in your body…with it there I can track you and listen to what your saying to other people. I can listen to your conversations and it has a special chemical in it that reacts to certain chemicals if they touch your body it can damage it severely. It also carries a chemical that when released your body will start to shut down, and there’s eighty percent chance you’ll survive it because the bleeding…so I wouldn’t worry.” Ranus’ eyes widened and he started to struggle. “Please no!! I promise I won’t run!! Please don’t I swear I’ll do whatever you want!!!” “Calm down…it doesn’t hurt…” Kizo clicked the trigger and electricity spread through Ranus’ body and he felt something enter inside his neck. Ranus screeched in pain and struggled violently until he broke free finely and he got up clutching the side of his neck screaming like hell. A larger demon appeared behind him and grabbed hold of him pinning his arms to his sides. “Let go please!! Let go of me!!!” Kizo chuckled at the boy’s panic. Kizo grabbed Ranus’ clothes and then dragged Ranus out of the room by the hair to a small room with no windows and the only door was entry door. The room was the size of a small closet and Kizo grinned like mad at the boy who was still screaming in pain more tears formed in his eyes but he refused to let the monster see them again. Kizo dragged Ranus into the room and locked the door behind him he set Ranus on the ground and sat on his chest pinning him down. He pulled out a syringe and grinned again. The liquid inside had sparks of electricity in it and Kizo raised it up to Ranus’ left temple and he shoved the needle so far into Ranus’ head that he pierced his brain injected the fluid into Ranus’ brain making him scream as electricity suddenly shocked his brain. Kizo smirked and got off the poor boy that was now writhing in pain on the floor. Kizo grinned at Ranus who looked in horror as he started to walk away from him surely he wasn’t going to leave him in this small room. He hated enclosed spaces that was his fear enclosed spaces. Kizo smiled evilly at Ranus’ look of terror as he stood up grunting in pain as he walked still sore from the hot iron stabbing into his gut. “Well Ranus I know a bit about you and your weaknesses and I learned you’re a claustrophobic so welcome to your new room.” With that Kizo slammed the door shut and locked it with the security computer. Ranus was dreadfully afraid he ran to the door and started screaming. “NO LET ME OUT OF HERE!!! PLEASE!!! LET ME OUT!!!!” He started to cry like he never had before. He was sore and he didn’t feel good. Ranus finely gave up and walked over to his clothes which were lying on the floor and he dressed himself then crawled into the corner hugging his knees and cried himself to sleep.

When Ranus woke he was in complete darkness since there were no windows no such light was in the room. He felt so weird wait. He couldn’t remember what had happened before. Why was he in a corner sleeping? Why did he have an aching feeling in his neck? Why was he so sore and tired? Ranus lifted his shirt and saw a brand mark on his lower stomach just bellow the belly button and that he was bleeding from a stab wound. Wait a minute that’s right Kizo did that to him because he was crying. “Ranus suddenly felt dizzy and he realized there was poisonous gas leaking through the vents in the wall. He panicked and ran to the door he screamed and begged to be let out of the room but no one came, but he could hear Kizo’s laughter on the other side of the door which was also the last thing he heard before he passed out and hit the floor with a loud thud. Kizo walked in and lifted the thirteen year old up into his arms and carried him to the scientist he hired laboratory to work on Ranus’ memory. “Need to make sure you don’t remember about that chip I implanted in your neck boy.” Kizo said with a smirk.

Ranus woke to a hissing sound and realized he was tied to a chair and he had something in his head. He then realized that he had a spike bored into his head and he stared in horror he looked around the room and saw Kizo standing near a machine with multiple switches he was talking to a man in a white coat. He looked like a doctor. Ranus sniffled again he didn’t even want to find out what the monster was going to do to him now. Ranus couldn’t help letting a few tears flow from his eyes. Ranus saw even the man he presumed was a doctor was afraid of Kizo as he stuttered when he spoke. It was either he was afraid of Kizo or he was afraid of some idea or something. That demon had a sick mind. Ranus thought in disgust. Ranus watched with fear his head hurt he could see blood dripping down from his neck and onto his shoulders. “Are you nuts Kizo you’ll kill him!” The man in white exclaimed. “I need his memory erased!!” “But th-that’s an impossible job!!! I can’t just erase one part of his memory!!! The gun to make that chip was hard enough you’ve got him under your control now Kizo what else do you want!?!” The man continued. Ranus trembled at the thought of not being able to remember anything. “I don’t want him going to somebody to remove the chip from his body!!! I need to find his brother and once I do I’ll dispose of him and then we’ll work on the other boy.” Kizo said with a smirk. Ranus looked around desperately for a way to escape, but he couldn’t find one and he was in too much pain to go anywhere he now realized escape was impossible. The only chance he had outta this place was to obey this man. Ranus was started to cry again he didn’t want to do anything for this man. Kizo and the man looked at him and Kizo smirked then looked back at the man. “I want it done within the hour and it better either work or kill the brat.” Kizo snickered and walked out of the room. Ranus looked at the spike attached to him it had a thick cord that was hooked to the machine Kizo was previously standing by. Ranus continue to sob his heart out and the scientist looked at him with pity. He walked over to him and put a hand on his shoulder and smiled sadly. “W-Why are you d-doing this to me? What did I do?” Ranus sobbed as he squirmed a little bit. The scientist sighed. “Sorry kid if I didn’t have to do this I wouldn’t trust me I’m not the kind of man Kizo is. If you had just listened to Kizo in the first place he wouldn’t be forcing me to do this to you.” The scientist said softly as he got a washcloth and cleaned the blood off Ranus’ neck and the side of his face. “Please don’t…” Ranus cried. “Sorry kid.” The scientist said and flipped a switch and an electric like energy surged through Ranus’ brain erasing most of his memory in the most painful manner even thought possible. Ranus screamed in sheer agony until finely they subsided and just became moans of pain. The last thing he heard was Kizo’s laughter of triumph.

Nero ran back into the room and Dante and Vergil followed. Dante looked at Ranus and his eyes widened in confusion. “What’s wrong with hi- Oh…” Dante stopped when he saw the blood on the bed. “DANTE! VERGIL! DON’T JUST STAND THERE HELP ME!!!” Nero kneeled down to pick Ranus up but when he touched him he was punched by Ranus’ own devil arm and he flew all the way across the room and crashed into the wall leaving a crack. Vergil grabbed hold of Ranus restraining him and he Ranus started screaming in terror and also what sounded like pain. Nero got up and tried to wake Ranus up. Vergil and Dante pinned him down and Dante suddenly motioned for Nero to take his place. “Why?” Nero questioned. “You gonna sit there and ask questions or let me help your brother?” Dante snapped. Nero glared at him but moved over where Dante had been holding Ranus’ left arm down. Dante drew Ebony and lowered it to Ranus’ ear. “DANTE!” Nero shrieked. Dante fired and Ranus bolted upright breathing hard then he looked at his chest and screamed in horror.

Nero glared at him but moved over where Dante had been holding Ranus’ left arm down. Dante drew Ebony and lowered it to Ranus’ ear. “DANTE!” Nero shrieked. Dante fired and Ranus bolted upright breathing hard then he looked at his chest and screamed in horror.
