“I agree lets get going.” Nero said and went to lift Ranus but Ranus was suddenly pulled back by someone. Nero looked up and saw Kizo standing there holding Ranus who was absolutely terrified. Ranus screamed and tried to kick him but it wasn’t working. “Ugh! Shut up!!” Kizo snapped and threw a hand over Ranus’ mouth. Nero growled in anger. “LET HIM GO!!!” He screamed. Kizo grinned and slide a knife under Ranus’ throat. “Tell you what…you leave here…and I promise I won’t kill him…” Nero snarled annoyed. “Sure you got you’re bitch to kidnap him for you. Well now he’s coming back home.” Nero sneered. “Ranus belongs to me…he’s worked for me for three years…didn’t you know that I sent him to find you and bring you to me Nero?” “What?” Nero asked and looked at Ranus who shook his head and tried to object but Kizo’s hand was still over his mouth not allowing sound to pass through. “Isn’t that right Ranus?” Ranus again shook his head his eyes begging Nero to believe him. “I was the one who implanted the chip in his neck.” Ranus looked more shocked at this. “It figures.” Vergil groaned. Nero glared at Ranus hard and cold before turning his back on him. “Would you like me to explain what that chip dose before you abandon you’re brother for the second time?” Nero stopped at this he looked over his shoulder. “Go ahead.” “That little device allowed me to listen to all your conversations; it also allowed me to track his movements. I’ve been watching him for a long time. It’s very little how much he knows about his past. Did he ever explain what I did to him?” Nero thought for a moment. “You monster what did you do to him?” Nero snarled. Ranus suddenly started to struggle again and Nero growled. “What’s it going to be Nero you going to save your little brother? If so come and get him…” Nero hesitated but drew his sword as well as Dante and Vergil. Ranus suddenly kicked backwards kicking Kizo in the shins and Kizo dropped him with a thud. Ranus ran towards Nero who slapped him hard across the face sending him bolting to the floor. “HOW DARE YOU!!! AFTER ALL I’VE DONE FOR YOU!!!” Nero yelled Ranus got up holding his cheek. Ranus stood on shaky legs his body was in shambles. Tears brimmed up in Ranus’ eyes. “I-I’m sorry…” Ranus whimpered. Nero growled and slapped him again. Ranus went crashing into the wall and Vergil had to restrain Nero from doing anything further to his little brother. Kizo grinned as Ranus’ arm started to glow a bright crimson and he cried out in pain he fell to his knees and clutched his stomach as the poison started to kick in. Ranus cried his eyes out he was in terrible pain. “It’s not too late to save him Nero…I know how to fix it…” Nero’s eyes widened. “What do you want in return?” Kizo grinned. “You.” Nero hesitated but nodded which shocked Ranus the most. “I want you to give me a portion of you’re power.” Kizo continued. “And you’ll help Ranus?” Nero questioned. “Yes…I promise…” Nero watched as his brother hit the floor unconscious. “Okay go ahead.” Kizo lifted Ranus up into his arms and walked into Leras’ lab. Nero walked over to Dante. “If he doesn’t do what he promised kill him.” Was all Nero said and started to walk away. Dante nodded and sat down to wait. Nero caught up with Kizo and Kizo turned around. “Stay out here.” He ordered. “What? No way I want to see what you’re going to do to him.” “Do you want me to save his sorry ass or not?” Kizo snapped. Nero sighed and stopped outside the door Kizo turned to him before going inside. “I warn you fixing this is incredibly painful so don’t be alarmed if he screams.” Nero nodded and sat down outside the door.

Leras walked around in his lab he was doing some tests on the new modifications to the device. “Leras!” Kizo called. “Yes Kizo?” “Is it ready?” “Yes just got it finished.” “Good now put it back in.” Kizo demanded as he laid Ranus down on the table. “You remember what to do?” Kizo asked the scientist. “Yes it is my work you know.” Leras said annoyed. Kizo looked to the door and then to Ranus. “I’d gag him when he wakes up… we don’t want Nero bursting in here.” Leras nodded and Kizo left the room.

Nero watched as Kizo walked out. “Hey who’s working on my brother if you’re out here?” “I have a scientist helping your brother Nero now follow me.” Nero sighed and followed Kizo.

Two hours later…

Ranus started to wake and Leras shushed him as he looked around. “It’s been a while since I worked on you hasn’t it…?” Ranus started to struggle trying to get free scared out of his wits. Leras sighed he hated wasting a young life especially in this way. “Hey…shh…you’re okay…” Leras stroked Ranus’ hair slowly Ranus started to scream but Leras covered his mouth to muffle him. Ranus struggled and tossed his head but Leras had a strong grip on his face. “Shh be quiet I don’t want to have to gag you kid so just relax please.” Ranus continued to struggle and scream and Leras grabbed a piece of cloth and tied it behind Ranus’ head and stuck it in Ranus’ mouth. Leras pulled out a syringe and injected it into Ranus’ arm. Ranus started to feel sleepy but he wouldn’t pass out. Ranus watched as Leras pulled out a gun. It looked familiar. The Ranus had another flashback about what happened the first time and he wanted to scream but it only came out as a moan. Leras pulled the trigger and the device lodged the chip back into Ranus’ neck. Ranus grunted in pain. Leras walked over to a machine with a bunch of knobs on it and pulled a switch and released more poison into Ranus’ body. “You’re responding good…just relax.”
