Five months later…
Ranus laid back in the tree he was sitting in it was a peaceful day so far. Ranus sighed and hopped out of the tree and walked into the Devil May Cry. Ranus saw Nero snoozing on the couch and he grinned. He stood over him and then hopped right on his back making Nero scream in surprise but Ranus laughed like crazy. “RANUS!!!” Nero screamed. “Sorry I couldn’t resist.” Ranus chuckled as he hopped off Nero’s back. Ranus looked to Nero. “Hey bro I’m gonna borrow your Dante’s bike don’t tell him…I need some time to think…” Ranus said and grabbed his stuff. “Ranus if he finds out he’ll kill you.” “Meh so what.” Ranus chuckled at the thought of kicking Dante’s ass if he tried to mess with him. “Fine go.” Nero said and watched Ranus go out the door.

Ranus parked the motorcycle in an ally by an old abandoned building. Ranus looked around inside and sat down against a wall. “What did I do to deserve a life like I have…” Ranus sighed. There was a dark laugh and Ranus drew his triple barrel revolver Fear. “Whose there?” He asked. Then Ranus felt his arms being pinned to his sides. “Now, now…I would think you would remember your creator Ranus…” Ranus struggled he knew that voice. “Kizo…?” “Smart boy…and I have something special for you…” Ranus was suddenly slammed on the ground and some demons appeared and held him there. Ranus struggled violently but it didn’t help. Kizo kneeled and lowered some sort of machine needle to his demon arm’s streak. Ranus struggled some more but they didn’t move. “Time for me to get that power of yours.” Kizo said with a chuckle. He plunged the needle into Ranus’ arm and Ranus screamed as the power was drained from his arm. Then everything went black.

Nero paced the room Ranus had been gone for two days and he was worried. Suddenly the door opened and someone stumbled in then collapsed onto the floor they were soaking wet from the rain. “Hey!” Nero exclaimed and rushed over then in his horror realized it was his little brother. He was deathly pale and he was sweating like crazy even though he was shivering. “Hey what happened?” “K-Kizo…” Ranus stuttered. Dante and Vergil walked into the room and rushed over when they saw Nero holding Ranus. “Kizo’s dead Ranus…” Nero said softly but Ranus shook his head before passing out. Dante looked at Ranus’ black spiky arm, the red streak was gone it was a dark grey and there was nothing but black no red at all. “Kid look at his arm…” Nero did so and his eyes widened.
