"Ranus? RANUS!" Vergil shook Ranus' shoulder in hopes of getting a reaction, all the while unaware that he was being watched. The shadows on the wall began to move and take shape behind Vergil. Raising up from the floor, its dark body near invisible against the dimly light walls. Its arms taking the shade of blades ready to strike, yet before it could even process an idea, the tip of Vergil’s Katana pierced into the location where its heart was. "It isn't nice to sneak up on someone!" Vergil said with a smirk, driving the blade even deeper into the creature's body.

"Sir Experiment 0183 has ceased functions!" Kizo turned to the large array of monitors "Where was 0183 when it happened" "0183 was guarding prisoner Ranus when its vitals failed." Kizo took a moment to think before turning to the key board and typing in a command "Send the entire 0180 series to that cell and bring me Ranus and who ever else is there!" "Right away sir" there was a long, uncomfortable silence before the demon spoke again. "Sir...there’s...something else" "what?" "The Ranus experiment has been....terminated" Monitor after monitor began exploding "WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S BEEN TERMINATED, I GAVE NO SUCH ORDER!" "It seems who ever killed 0183 has also helped Ranus!" "Then hunt them down and find them!"

Vergil looked at the demon he just killed then looked back to Ranus he didn’t appear to be breathing. Vergil kneeled and started to do CPR on him and after ten minutes after he gave up Ranus jolted upright in a panic. “V-Vergil?” Ranus asked confused. Vergil nodded and looked around. “Where’s Nero?” He asked. “Somewhere in the building I think.” “C’mon then.” Vergil said firmly. Ranus nodded and followed Vergil when the walls started to close in. “Hurry!” Vergil shouted and ran through the tunnel tentacles shot out from the ground and pinned Vergil down on the ground and some jolted out of the wall pinning Ranus to it. Everything went black as the walls closed in on them both.

Leras walked the area he walked up to Kizo’s hideout when he saw Dante’s hanging body. He looked down at his hands. “I think we can fix this situation.” Leras said and his hands started to glow white. Dante’s body tensed as it was put back together and his eyes opened. “Ah…it worked good…your alive…” Leras said with a chuckle. “What happened?” “No time to explain Dante…we need to save Ranus, your brother, and Nero. Leras replied.

Dante and Leras wandered the long corridors when he saw Nero strapped to a table in a room he appeared to be conked out. Dante looked at Leras who nodded. “Go get him I’ll watch the door.” Dante walked into the room and shook Nero a little bit. “Hey! Kid…wake up…stop sleeping on the job c’mon…” Dante said softly. Nero moaned and his eyes fluttered open. “Dante?” Nero asked through his blurred vision. “Yeah kid it’s me. C’mon we need to find your brother and Vergil.” Nero nodded and stood and stretched his cramped muscles. Nero, Leras and Dante then continued down the corridor in search for Ranus and Vergil.
