Description
It had been one year since the destruction of Majin Buu and things were peaceful. Gohan had become a teacher, Goten had turned 11 and Trunks 12, Bulma’s business was going good and Vegeta and Goku were training as usual.

It was a nice calm day Goku, Gohan and Goten had just sat down for dinner when Goku sensed familiar energy, Gohan who had also felt it looked at his father. “Dad is that Trunks…?” He asked confused. “I don’t know lets go check it out…” But Chi-Chi stood up. “WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING!!!!!!!!?” She screamed. “Chi-Chi something isn’t right…I think he’s hurt…” Then the energy flared out of control and the father and son bolted off leaving a stunned Goten and a raging mad Chi-Chi.”

Goku and Gohan landed when they found the time machine and tried to sense his energy but not having any luck. “It’s…like he just disappeared dad…” Gohan whispered. “I know…” Then Piccolo landed and spoke quickly. “Goku Trunks is back and he’s attacking the lookout!!!” “WHAT!!!” Goku and Gohan both shouted. “B-But why would he do that?” Gohan asked. “HOW THE HELL SHOULD I KNOW!!!!!” Piccolo yelled as the three raced off to the lookout.

And when they landed they found a badly beaten and battered Trunks holding Dende by the throat against the building. “I WANT IT ALL BACK NOW!!!!” Trunks snarled but yelped and dropped Dende as a blast hit the side of his head leaving a burn mark. “TRUNKS WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!!!” Goku shouted but then gasped as he got a closer look at Trunks. He was wearing some sort of armor like cover on both arms and had another on his right leg, his hair reached all the way down to his waist, his eyes red signs that he had been doing a lot of crying, his face badly scared, his clothes were torn and through his shirt you could see he had something wrapped around his chest and what really caught Goku’s attention was the tail that was behind swishing behind him. Trunks turned his head and through blackened eyes he glared at Goku. “T-Trunks what happened to you…” Gohan whispered to the once handsome young man and slowly approached but received a blast to the chest sending him backwards. “What happened to me…WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!!!? YOU SURE YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!!!!!! IT’S GONE! IT’S ALL GONE THAT’S WHAT HAPPENED TO ME AND IT’S MY ENTIRE FAULT!!!!!” Goku looked at Trunks puzzled. “What’s gone Trunks…?” Goku asked calmly. “MY TIMELINE EVERYTHING IT’S ALL GONE!!!!!!!! I WANT IT BACK I WANT IT ALL BACK NOW!!!” Trunks screamed turning Super Saiyan 3. “What happened why is it gone didn’t you defeat Cell and the Androids?” Goku asked. “Cell? Androids? I took care of them without breaking a sweat!!!” Trunks screamed. “AND WHAT WAS I REWARDED WITH MORE PAIN, DEATH AND DESTRUCTION!!!! IM CURSED MY WHOLE TIMELINE IS CURSED!!!!!!!!!” Trunks screamed with tears brimming in his eyes. Vegeta and the other Z warriors landed now. “But what happened why is it gone?” Gohan asked. “AN ASTROID!!!!!! A STUPID PIECE OF ROCK!!! I WOULD UNDERSTAND IT IF IT WAS AN ENEMY BUT WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT AN ASTROID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gohan shook his head sympathetically. “I’m so sorry, Trunks, if only there was something…” Trunks growled and cut him off. “There is… I want to wish it back… I want to wish all of it back. NOW!” A very nervous Dende was shaking his head. “I… I don’t think the Eternal Dragon can grant that wish, Trunks. I’m sorry.” Trunks dropped out of Super Saiyan 3. “W-Why?” He asked his voice starting to crack. Piccolo stepped forward. “Because that world doesn’t exist here. Don’t you see? If your timeline had a Dragon maybe, but…” Trunks fell to his knees and shed unmerciful tears. Vegeta crossed his arms and shook his head at his future son. “So you just give up so easily? Is that what you did when the asteroid came? Turn tail and ran to the Time Machine?” Everyone gasped at Vegeta’s words. Trunks glared at him with piercing cold eyes. “No father I didn’t run…” Trunks removed the gauntlets on his arms and let all the Z warriors see what they were hiding and what it was made all of them gasp except Vegeta who had no reaction upon seeing the burnt flesh on his son’s arms. “You see this father…? This is what happens when one man tries to stop an asteroid by himself.” “So what about the scars on your face Trunks…?” Gohan asked. “It came from that it burned my face it was soo hot…”

Flashback…

“Mom when do you recon the asteroid will be here? Trunks asked in an angry tone. Bulma was very nervous but did reply. “I’d say about 24 hours Trunks…” She whispered knowing what he was planning on doing, and Trunks sighed. “Mom I want you to stay here…?” He whispered holding her close. “Please don’t do this Trunks…” “Mom I have to…” with that he flew off into the sky. “Be careful Trunks…”

Trunks was now at least a few feat from it he reached out his hands and placed it on it and pushed but realized it was too hot. He looked at what it was doing to his arm he let go and noticed he was on fire and he screamed in pain as his he was soo concentrated on putting the fire out he forgot that he was in the way of the asteroid’s path it struck him leaving burns on his face soo hard that he went plummeting to the earth’s surface and landed with a crash

Bulma paced the floor nervously when footsteps got her attention she wheeled around what she saw made the color in her face disappear. “Trunks…” She whispered staring in horror at her son who had burns all over him. “M-Mom…I’m soo sorry…” He cried getting on his knees and sobbing as if he had finely given up and in truth he had. “Shh…baby you did your best…” Bulma whispered holding her son close while he cried his eyes out. “Trunks I need to get something to help with your injuries…” Bulma whispered. “WHATS THE POINT I DOOMED THIS PLANET IT’S ALL GONE!!!” Trunks screamed. Bulma was enraged at this she wheeled around and slapped him across the face. “DON’T YOU DARE SAY THAT IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT!!!!!!” She screamed. “Now you lay down I’m going to go make something to cover those injuries of yours.” Trunks sighed in defeat. “Fine…” with that he went to his room.

Two hours later…

Bulma came up to Trunks’s room with a load of equipment in her arms and walked in. “Trunks here it is!” Bulma exclaimed cheerfully. Trunks just stared at the stuff she put down. “Uh…what is it…?” He asked quite confused. “They’re to cover the burns.” Bulma replied. “Now take your shirt and pants off.” Trunks’s eyes widened. “E-excuse me…?” He asked not believing what he just said. “Trunks for Kami’s sake I’m your mother!!!” Trunks blushed and slowly removed his clothes except for his boxers. “Now put your right leg.” Trunks did so and Bulma grabbed one of the pieces of metal and buckled it tightly around it so that it covered his ankle to his thigh. Trunks let out a hiss of pain and then yelped as she pushed a button and he felt something pierce through his leg under the armor. He looked and saw blood dripping down his foot seeping between his toes. “M-Mom…?” Trunks asked getting uncomfortable. “Shh…sweety its okay…now I need you to hold out your arms…” Trunks did so and Bulma slid on two gauntlet like pieces and buckled them tightly and Trunks felt another pain pierce through his body then Bulma turned him around and put something over his chest and buckled it in the back and Trunks howled in pain and at the pain from this one. “WHAT THE HELL IS THIS STUFF!!!!” Trunks screamed trying to yank it off. “Trunks don’t take it off you’ll tear your skin!!!!!!!!” Bulma quickly looked in the drawer and found her tranquillizer gun and quickly shot a tranquillizer into her son’s neck and he was down instantly.

“And that’s what happened…I don’t deserve to live…I promised them…” “AND THEY ALL DIED AND IT’S MY FAULT!!!!!!!!” “Well see you later… with that Trunks put his hand to his heart charged a blast and let it go he died before he hit the floor. Vegeta and Goku ran out to out to him but it was too late while Gohan stood there in shock before going into a fit of rage. “HE DIDN’T DESRVE SUCH A MISRIBLE LIFE WHY!!!!!!!!! DID HE HAVE TO HAVE IT LOOK WHAT IT DID TO HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!” He screamed with tears running down his eyes.
