Trunks approached the green lizard. All he had to do was destroy Cell and there would be peace at last he wouldn’t have to worry anymore. Trunks smirked. “You’re going down Cell.” “What how is it you know me! Ah…I see you’ve already gone back to the past…You may think you know all about me but I know more about you Trunks than you know of me.” The lizard said approaching cautiously. Trunks stood his ground and charged a blast and threw it at him but Cell dodged it easily and disappeared from sight. Trunks looked around he didn’t think he knew of this attack in this stage apparently he thought wrong. Trunks was soo busy in his focusing for looking for Cell that he didn’t feel the Cell’s tail which grabbed his neck from behind. Trunks gasped at this. Future Gohan suddenly appeared. “G-Gohan??” Trunks stuttered. “Hey little bro need some help?” Gohan asked. "Y-Yes please." Trunks stuttered all the while smiling at his teacher. Cell pulled Trunks closer and he switched his hold on the young Super Saiyan by removing his tail but quickly grabbing him by the throat lifting him off the ground attempting to choke him. Cell then smiled his murderous eyes gave Trunks the chills as he looked into them. “Hm…I wonder…what the power of a Super Saiyan feels like…” Cell said curiously and his tail opened. Trunks gasped and struggled to get out of Cell’s grasp. Trunks attempted to kick Cell in the face but Cell easily dodged. “Fuck!” Gohan growled. Gohan knew without a doubt, that Cell was planning on absorbing Trunks…if that happened, it would even become more impossible to destroy Cell. He already had his tail suspended in the air and in seconds would have Trunks absorbed. Gohan knew he only had one decision and solution…Gohan flew as far away as he could without losing sight of Cell and summoned up as much energy as he could without self-destructing and tears started coming out of his eyes. He knew that Trunks probably wouldn’t survive this. “I’m sorry little bro…but I have no choice…goodbye Trunks.” Gohan said softly. Trunks looked up at Gohan and the blast he had in his hand and panicked. “GOHAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING!” He screamed. Gohan let the blast go and it engulfed both Trunks and Cell. When the light cleared neither Trunks or Cell could be seen. He slowly walked back to Capsule corp. he had to tell Bulma what had happened.

A week days later…

“So Gohan care to explain to me where you have been all this time?” Chi-Chi asked coldly at the thought that her Gohan didn’t come back when she needed him. “I don’t want to talk about it mother-” Gohan started but a blast came through the window and flung him backwards and someone broke down the door. Gohan got up and was amazed at who was at the door. There in the door was the bloody form of Future Trunks, filled with wounds that seemed to still bleed even though it had been more than a week ago since he had “died”. It was amazing he was still alive after the surprise blast and loss of blood. His face was grim, eyes cold, and he wavered slightly, as if ready to fall any moment. The side of his face had a jagged cut running from near his eye, down his cheek and to the side of his mouth. It made him look wicked. He stared at Gohan and without any emotion to his words. “You tried to kill me…” He growled and fell to the ground. Then Bulma walked into the room and nearly had a heart attack upon seeing her son on the floor. “T-Trunks…? G-Gohan he’s alive…?” Gohan couldn’t speak he was too full of shock. “Gohan…? GOHAN!” Gohan finely snapped out of his shock and looked at Bulma. “W-What?” He asked. “Help me get him to the infirmary…please…” She said unable to control her tears. Gohan nodded and picked Trunks up and ran to the infirmary as fast as he could.

Eight hours later…

Trunks looked at Gohan and growled he looked away from Gohan his eyes filled with anger, hurt and betrayal. “Trunks…” Gohan said softly. Trunks glared at Gohan. “You tried to kill me…” He spat coldly. “Trunks I-I can explain…” Gohan said hesitantly. “Explain? Explain what? It’s fairly simple Gohan you tried to kill me.” “Trunks I had to he was going to absorb you we wouldn’t have been able to beat him if he did.” Gohan explained. “BUT YOU TRIED TO KILL ME!!!!!!!!” Trunks screamed. And his eyes turned turquoise and electricity crackled around him as his hair turned gold.
