Another run cycle finished!
This time it's the energetic Ollie galloping along! I also animated chibi Benji but I didn't want to reuse those lines. So I animated Ollie from scratch. I used less frames to make him run faster, as Benji was moving a bit slow. So this one is 9 frames instead of 12. I also really wanted to animate the hair in a more natural way and I think this already looks better than Benji. I also redrew the hair lines instead of meshing them as I did with Benji. It makes it a bit more messy but also more natural. I also made the ears flop backwards and forwards which I just think looks really cute
Ollie was fun to animate up untill his spots came along xD They definitely don't look perfect, still a lot to learn about animating markings. I'm pretty much just eyeballing them as I work now.
I really wanted to animate a proper background here with more going on further back. But as I worked I really started to like the look of it being just the sky and the grass. The bush was a test to see how to animate solitary stuff like that moving along. Nothing special but hey, it moves
