I know a person were you can get excellent quality spare bodies to do a mind transfer and let the doctors fix up your old one in he mean time. want nicks spare body to be a bunny for a while for some shits and giggles or your or what ever his heart desires to be is up to you while they repair his original body. a simple mind transfer wont hurt at all. plus you never know if they might like their new body better than the old just have to wait and see..

On the subject of steam punk technology...
The thing or technology in my comic " 3 years " the machines are powered by soul ....a 1 person can power a simple device if their soul is strong...others of royal blood can power giant mechanisms ....some use ...
The device or machines use " runic metal " some stone or wood... in which the soul can disperse and possess such devices and machines...
The device located on judiths back is a " aever xx model " a soul powered device that can transfer and transform a soul into a wing like appearance by what the soul looks like from the user...it also is used as a back pack as it keeps some stuff...some models are different and have different ways of activation.

nice and awesome. such as blood is the currency and vehicle of life as intergra hellsing had once said. so is that in the soul in the machine. the machines are driven by both not only their users soul but of their will power as well. fascinating and interesting. the stronger the soul the bigger stuff you get to use the stronger the will the stronger the bond between animal and machine.

Some even use spirits to power such devices...these spirits are sometimes willing to help and others are slaved...
If a person however...uses his or her soul in which the limit of the device...
Like a weak soul trying to power a advanced device ends badly as the soul will separate from the body and into the device...trapped...forever...

in summation don't go over your set limit unless you are trained or are able to do so and are worthy got it. other wise bad stuff will happen. although if you were trapped for ever in a mammal sized machine you can get upgrades and be stronger and more resilient depending on what you are trapped in or a traveling backpack companion to.
