Orcus, Demon Lord of the Undead, always a hit on karaoke night with his version of "Zero" by The Smashing Pumpkins.I figured I'd do something big - like one of the toughest guys in the Monster Manual - to kick off my awesome new Tumblr full of obsessing about role-playing games.

Every D&D player's dream... to take out Orcus once and for all... then again, that would probably mean there would be no more Undead.
I don't think I could live with myself if I couldn't lop the head off of a Zombie once in a while!

Naw, I don't think it'd be that easy.
After all... he's a demon lord, he can come back (canonically it's happened in the old D&D verse!) and worse, in the meantime, you'd have a lot of fairly powerful second-string demons, necromancers and godlings all competing to take over responsibility for all undead. Instead of one big powerful demon lord of undead, you'd have a dozen or so contenders threatening the multiverse with their mad schemes!
