Description
This was one of my first shots underwater. Not the greatest, but for my first time shooting underwater and with strobes, im actually fairly happy with it. There is quite a bit of photoshop work done to it since I am not all that great at shooting underwater yet, but I wanted to post something from my first dive so I (and you) can (hopefully) see how much my next shots improve over time.Related content

oh yea, there is, it's going to take a few dives to get things right. I just got new dive gear with integrated weights and this was the first time diving with my camera. So between all that and not diving for nearly 10 months, it is going to take some time before i figure out all the tricks to shooting undwerwater.

i c..well to avoid it you should try and change the position of your strobe so that it doesnt light the water between the camera and the subject...maybe you already know that though..
what did you think about integrated weights?

Yea i've been reading quite a bit about it. I jsut didn't want to mess with the stroebs too much. I was dealing with my bouyancy and getting use to being inthe water again mroe then anything. Not so sure how i feel about the integrated weights. It's nice not having a weight belt, but when i try to kneel on the sand to shoot something, i fall forward, though i think i was slightly overweighted as well. Ill let you know how i like them when i get use to them. haha
