Description ...Oh what a difference color makes! I've said it before, and I may say it again, but I definitely think that out of my submissions so far, this one takes the cake. While working on this picture, I finally figured out a method to create smooth color blending that some-what resembles paint, and I'm just shocked by how simple it is.

Anyway, I put a lot of work into this one, and I thank you guys for taking a look-see.

you are welcome, I love your posing and composition, your fighters look strong enough to really fight and the colors glow.Β  I know this is a very old pic, and there's a lot more female boxing art on dA now, I hope you can do more as this is great stuff.
I do a lot of boxing art myself and I think you have a very good eye for this!

Wow, nice work, you can really feel that last punch! The action and the transitions from frame to frame are excellent, as is the composition.

What is this wonderful new coloring technique then, do tell!

Thanks. Well first off, I color in a character or background in with my base color, which is usually an over-saturated shade of red, blue, yellow- or whatever. Then I use the quick-selection tool and fill option to quickly paste in the base color over the inked character/background. Once I'm done with filling in the base color, I pick a color shade that's much lighter than my base palette, crank the brush's flow down to 7 or 8 percent, and I just brush in highlights. It gives it a very soft, glowy feel.
