I seriously actually was planning to add a part at the end where Terry says something like "I was so happy that Nina and I loved each other. We even made love to one another occasionally. Some may see this as wrong or disgusting... that I, a robot and Nina, a human connected like this. But I thought that it was beautiful in every way. I don't really know how to describe it. I believe that this was just plain love... both physically and mentally. Why do we fall in love? Why do we need love? Why does love happen? It's impossible to explain."
But I took it out because I thought that it was perhaps a little too suggestive and decided that it would be better to let the readers imagine whatever they wanted to.

He literally meant "Let me sleep in the same bed with you", because he always slept there. Nina wasn't freaking out about that either because she always let Terry sleep in her bed.
