I absolutely adore getting to draw Spacepuffs for commissions, especially MYOs! Interpreting the design and working with others' ideas really gets me feeling creative! Since her reference was mostly her cape covering her up, I was able to play with what I imagined would be underneath to give her some extra detail and pops of color! Since she is a detective character, I wanted the shading to be a bit dramatic, and for the overall tone to have a sort of sepia feel to it, without sacrificing bright colors! Hopefully it comes through!
