This is one of the most beautiful images of Ariel and Melody I've seen, to be honest. I love the details on their tails, and the way you painted it, it makes the image look more realistic and natural.

That is one of the most epic Pisces signs I've ever seen! XD It's so perfectly fitting!
Yin-yang has a similar flow, but it's all about opposite natures...I just can't see the resemblance for the glaringly obvious astrological symbol. The one with two fish circling around each other, connected by a cord tied to their tails, which I believe stemmed from a story of Aphrodite and Cupid (mother and son) who were briefly turned into fish to help them escape from someone (I forget who). Many artists have used mer-people to depict the Pisces symbol, but I really love the use of familiar characters here! Plus they are mother and child, just like Aphrodite and Cupid, which makes it even more awesome!

I should do some research to find out more about these ancient Greek mythological tales. 'Cause -- admittedly -- my knowledge of Greek mythology is rather brief.

I'm a little obsessed with astrology, or more specifically the section over personality and romance. (To top it off, my Sun sign is also a Pisces, so I've actually looked at a lot more stuff for this symbol than for the others...
And while I actually don't know all that much Greek Mythology (well, maybe a little more than most people, but still...), I end up reading about it now and again when I'm researching the back-stories for names...don't want to name a future baby after a character with too terrible a fate, lol. (Yikes, so many sucky endings in Greek Mythology...a few are very romantic, but most of the ones about the heroes especially seem to be violent and with a doomed ending, and the ones with the maidens end up with them turned into something or they are made into mistresses and later have a miserable fate...gosh dang it, Zeus! Stop cheating on Hera already! >.< Lol, well, there are all kinds of stories in Greek Mythology, and they are all quite interesting...but typically a lot of people in each story go through a lot of crap, and/or die. Thought I should throw that out there in case you weren't aware, lol.)

I actualy did a mistake the movie is just called TLM ariels begining theres no 3 in it. people been calling it 3 thats what made me think that it was 3.
So that means it might be possible to be a little mermaid 3

Very nice! I can't believe you made this in 2000, it looks so much like the 2008 re-release cover for TLM2! I like yours a lot better though, it's beautiful! I'm in love with the watercolor-paint-ish textures in the background, the colors look amazing!
