Description
The rock farm was a sad and gloomy place. Nopony laughed and nopony smiled.One day Pinkamina was helping her mother in the kitchen when her sisters came in from that day's harvest. As the last of her siblings marched through the door, a loud BOOM rocked the small house along with its inhabitants.
"What was that?!" One of her siblings shouted.
"Maud!" Her father shouted. "Close that door, unless you want to get hit by lightning!"
"That must be one chaotic thunderstorm." Her mother grumbled.
Shrugging it off, the family went back to their business, unaware of the colorful explosion outside.
Years later, Pinkamina inherited the rock farm and continued the business. Meanwhile, in a nearby town, Twilight Sparkle traveled with her new-found friends in search of the Elements of Harmony. Unfortunately, Twilight was never able to find the sixth element and was easily defeated by Nightmare Moon.
Now, after years of darkness, Pinkamina looks down at her reflection and wonders how it could have been.

I personally, am not a 'brony', but I enjoyed this piece a lot!! Although, I feel as though the shading is a bit harsh. Like, it doesn't flow into a darker shade, it just kind of changes. You know? Also, the shoulders are a bit slender, even if the pony is meant to be slouching. Also, Iam not sure if it's some sort of portal, but I'm pretty sure she's just looking into a form of water, and if she is, I believe she is missing herself in the reflection? As I said, I am not a brony, so I might be wrong, the pony might not even be canon? Anyway, the only critique I even really had was about the shading (:

yeah, unless you're a brony, you probably wouldn't know the difference between Pinkamina and Pinkie Pie. Basically, Pinkamina is looking at a reflection and her reflected self is the pink pony in the center of the group.

At first I thought this was from Too Many Pinkie Pies, in an alternate reality where the real Pinkie Pie got trapped in the mirror pond and one of her copies won the staring contest.

No not at all! I felt the sadness of what we know never truly happening and everything that they had strived for had failed. And failure is one of the most saddest feelings ever!
