I was reading up on how colors are supposed to be used in art. One source said that many complimentary colors already exist in nature.

Growing up, I had become accustomed to seeing dark skinned characters wear yellow in video games. Adam from the first streets of rage game (sega genesis) wore a yellow shirt. And in Gauntlet Legends, choosing a yellow colored outfit would turn your character into a black person.

Since Donna wears yellow all the time, I figured she had something in common with a Bell Pepper, squash or Banana, so I added some green to her. Still trying to decipher the color wheel, I added blue to the background and left lots of white space. Not sure if I'm doing it right though.
