Description The Donna on the left was inspired by .

This is her original drawing

I'm experimenting with new proportions, so there are some anatomy erros. Also I made the banana's beige colored because having all that yellow on the screen was hurting my eyes.

I'll give it a try. I've got relatives built like Mama K so it shouldn't be too hard.

Cool but don't her hear you calling her Mama K she hates that. Β She likes to be called Big Momma K, Momma K or just K, Karen or Ms Jean-Joseph. Lol can't wait to see what you do with her have fun.

I love her hairstyles, haha.
I might come up with a few of my own!

I already had Donna braiding Mara's long hair and curling her tail!Β

Seeing Donna with alternate hairstyles urges me to create parallel worlds where the alternate Donna's can be identified by their hair.

Oh hmm, I don't think I've seen that image, have I?

Haha, probably not. I have a habit of sketching out scenes before I do pictures for commissions, to get in the mood, yeah?

Thank alot!

I'm really inspired by Seiji Matsuyama.

He draws characters in such a way that they're highly poseable, Β They're like lanky but still kinda muscular. Plus he can slap on a pair of huge breasts no matter how tall or short he draws someone. So much utility in his style.

Good job Pagod! Digital isn't any more or less challenging that traditional. Same same, different different.

Thanks a lot!

Yah, aside from some technical differences ( like how a digital artist doesn't need to wait for paint to dry when applying new colors) both art forms have advantages and disadvantages to balance things out.

I'd say digital's defining feature is and will always be the undo function though.

Ahh thanks alot!

I want to get to the point where I can produce quality work so that I can just sit back and draw peoples OC's all day.

I'm a bit shocked at the difficulty though. Traditional artists were always telling me how digital people had it easy. They made it sound like you just plug in your tablet, draw a few lines, hit ctrl+z to get rid of the bad ones, slap on a filter or two and you're all done.

But that isn't how it works at all.

You're welcome, and I would like to draw people's OCs too

I'm mostly traditional, and I had to learn digital coloring from others. There are some decent tutorials for coloring and lineart that you can find here and elsewhere.

Yay, I inspired work! It looks nice, and I think making the bananas beige was a wise choice, although, I'm a wee bit surprised that you didn't go with slightly unripened bananas. It probably would've yielded the same effect as a bunch of yellow, though.

That idea makes more sense. I'll keep it in mind for next time.
