Description
The entirety of this was made over the course of the last seven days. I'm actually really surprised at how efficient I was here, since I managed to get around 25 seconds done each day.Even though the actual animation is not pristine or anything and the frame-by-frame is sort of choppy and shaky, I'm proud of how this turned out, mainly due to the atmosphere of it and the story. I think this time it actually has some meaning behind it. Also, this time I actually have some REAL INSTRUMENTS in the music. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? OMG. Except I mixed them in with synthesized versions of themselves so it's occasionally hard to tell. Oh well.
Also, sorry about the ads, but you know, I try to make a little bit of money off of these when I can.

Brilliant job! I love the textures! How did you do that? I'm thinking masking, but I could be wrong...

In newer versions of Flash (and older versions too, I think, although I haven't tasted it with anything earlier than CS4) you can import a bitmap to the library and use that as a fill just like you would use a solid colour or a gradient. In the colour panel, when selecting a fill type, just select "Bitmap" from the dropdown list and you're good to go.

Ah! I have CS5, and I've noticed that feature, but I never thought of using it for some reason! Thanks!

Aw man, this shows how concept can be DAMN important. Though the animation isn't a Disney classic, it carries a message, a mood and almost everything we could expect from an animation. Faving for sure.
The part where the teacher puts a smile or a sad face into the students' masks was THE scene. Everything said in the whole thing zipped into those two seconds.
Keep up, man, you have a bright future ahead.

That was great, I liked the atmosphere and the story.
It makes me think about my masks and how I wear them.

Yee dawg.
You have lived up to your name by providing us with sick beats, too. The music is still stuck in my head.
