Okay, I REALLY like Mariku's design, so I decided to make this reference. I might not make another one of these for a VERY long time.

About her: Mariku died when she was 16 of accidental murder. She was walking home from a friend's house one evening when she got stuck in the middle of a fight. The fight included a student from her school, but she didn't know him very well. Another one of the kids fighting had very fire powers and tried to use them but missed and hit Mariku instead. The flames burned her horribly and killed her. Now, Mariku is one of the lost souls who doesn't just sit around and be sad and confused about their past. She would rather have fun and look to the future.

If you notice, the soul fragment on her back kind of looks like a flame. That is because it is the direct spot she got hit.
