Another Emaré painting, I experimented more with this one and tried to be more lose and not constrict myself with everything being blended to perfection. I promise I'll be drawing more characters. Lately, I just love Emaré's design and she's more finalized than other characters right now. Tamiko is finalized too but she's the main character so...she'll be drawn plenty.Good news too, I found out I have Sciatica! Basically it means when I draw/work I'm not taking enough breaks to stretch/walk/etc. so I pinched my sciatic nerve in my back. .__. Apparently my posture is bad from this too so I need to work on fixing that so it releases tension in my back. Good news is it's easy to fix, it's not a herniated disk. (Thank the Lord). I have exercises I have to do the next few weeks (which ironically I've been doing with Yoga), and if it's not better I have to go to the Chiropractor.
It's funny because while my parents were in town my Dad said he knew that's what I had because he had it before, but I wanted to go to the doctor just in case. And... he was right LOL. Thank God though, I'm glad it's nothing super serious.Art & Emaré Rossi (C) Paige Coffer

I restarted it because she legit looked like Taylor Swift somehow xD thank you though! I tried to capture how she is most of the time, she's snarky but she's upbeat and caring too. Glad the hair trick worked too, I'm trying to get my pieces to feel more natural.

You're welcome! I like that you're showing different sides of her character with these recent pictures. I personally get annoyed with characters who are 'tough all the time,' so it's good to see a strong character like her show her softer side.

I agree 100%!! Especially lately with girl characters in big movies they are only strong. I'm always think, "I do not feel that way as a girl all the time..or at all!" lol. Em is strong and a bit of a BA but I made sure she's relatable and has flaws too. Tamiko would be the "weaker" of the two, depending on how you look at weakness.

Same here! It's one of the reasons why I don't really like those films. The screenwriters need to put some more effort into their character development, imo!
I like how you balanced them out like that! It should make for some interesting dynamics with everyone in the future!
