Me and my longtime friend of 25 years, Cathy! This was taken right after the #KISS #EndOfTheRoadTour concert. 2/11/2020 Columbia, South Carolina, US.They are finally retirng after almost 50 years.
I've seen them 6 times live, once even being on the front row: 1977, 1986, 1996, 2000, 2003, 2020
I feel like my childhood is REALLY over because now I know I will never get to see them live again.
I tried to savor every moment. They were my first rock concert in Feb. 1977, a week after I turned 10 and also my first rock album or (vinyl, as some of us older folks call them, lol ) (Destroyer)
I've been a rocker ever since because of them. Good-Bye and Thank you #KISS , it's been a FUN ride!!

I saw them the first time when I was 11 (my brother took me) in 1976 (Destroyer tour) and have seen them 18 times total. The last time was the Convention tour in 96’; 100 tickets sold for $100 each. It was like having them in your living room. I have a photo I took of Paul there framed with a drawing I did of him signed by him, along with a photo of us together, his guitar pick and my back stage pass. Somewhere in my gallery I have the photo of us up. It’s called Paul and I. 💜
I think we have at least Kiss in common.
