Yeah, so before Halle Berry went and RUINED Storm for alla you non-X-Men reading types, let me tell you, in the 80's Storm fuckin' ROCKED. She went all punk for like, NO REASON (well, there may have been a reason, but they never really got into it) and got a beast-ass mohawk and even though Claremont knew JACK about the punk scene I can imagine Storm was hitting shows and getting tanked. But anyways, Storm was like, THE COOLEST ever and I really miss her punk look, so I did this.Related content

Tell me about it. But I'd rather have quality than quantity I suppose. And yeah, I'm really itching to do more Punk Storm picks, you just can't fuck with a black chick with a white mohawk on the coolness-scale.

I still wish Angela Basset had gotten the part. Didn't Storm go all leather and mohawk when Forge stripped her of her powers? I remember that's when she usurped the leadership of the team by bringing the beat down on cyclops, even without powers. That's also when she took down Calisto (spelling?) and took over leadership of the morlocks.
I wish Marvel would get off it's frickin' non-modern-reprint-high-horse and put out all the Uncanny issues in those twenty issue, B&W, Cerebus size trades.
As always seriously nice color work, the shadow work and skin tone in particular.

Wow.. i remember that.... I wasnt so much into the punk thing, bUT i kinda appreciated the look. I remember wanteng her to get her powers back. Remmeber the Mutant X book from a couple years ago? Woth Havok in the alternate uni.? She SORTA had a look like this.. she was a vampire too....
