People always talk about moving forwards, but where's the point in doing that if you don't know where you're going?

And you should never be afraid to ask for that peace.
And you should never, ever be ignored.
Even if that peace can't be granted, just asking for it lets everyone know you're in pain and that they should make things as easy for you as they can.
You have an inalienable right to this peace.
And NO ONE can take THAT from you. No matter how hard they may try.
Please, never be afraid to ask.
But at the same time, don't force yourself to speak either if you can't think of something to say in that present moment.
We all have freedom of speech, and part of that freedom is the right to remain silent when you want to.
NEVER be afraid to exercise BOTH of those rights.

Hm. Is it a coincidence that the umbrella spokes look like a shattered piece of glass? I feel like that's significant.
Then again, that could just be me being pretentious...
I think our conversations have only added to my understanding of this piece. I'm not claiming to "know" how you really feel, but I think this brings me quite close. This is one of those works that I "feel" rather than "see" if that makes any sense.
