I think the most important lesson i learned with this one is that I should just buy a bunch of white out to add details like all the dots instead of tidiously going around all of them. Damn polka dots to hell.Related content

Oof, I've tried doing the dots on Alphy's dress once myself with digital art, and that was a pain to do; I can't imagine doing it traditionally with so many dots. x.x

They were glitter gel pens too man, glitter everywhere for weeks!
I feel doing her dots on photoshop would be easier considering they have a filter of sorts that converts shading to dots? It's a mystery, I don't even use photoshop for Digital anymore.

I think the easiest, would be toΒ make a custom pattern or find one and just select the empty space within the line work with a wand before filling it in with the pattern. Though chances are you would have to transform it as well to fit the shape to give it depth.
