Description

An investigation into a string of murders of wealthy heiresses leads both Kwai Chang Caine and Peter Caine to an exclusive magic club, where a magician named Diablo the Deceiver is performing. As they watch a beautiful young lady, Devon Saunders, is asked to volunteer for his act. On stage the magician places Devon under his hypnotic thrall and performs a magic trick with her. Diablo's M.O. is to hypnotize wealthy young women during his act, instruct them to withdraw large sums of money, and then murder them, and Devon is about to become his next victim unless the crime fighting father and son can stop him.
