I have the Canon SX110 IS, the Canon S3 IS and the Canon 350D. I also have a Canon USM 28 to 110mm lens and the Tamron 70 to 300mm lens.

I have been interested ever since the age of 7 but I only started getting into it at age 17 or 18 and got my first digital camera at age 29

If it is what you really want then make sure you do not give up on your dream. Just wait for when you feel is the best time and then go for it

In my case it is a hobby and I don't think I would like to get into it as a full-time job.
