Kate is a Jolly and optimistic Mawile, who always tries to find the positives in even the most bleak of situations. She is also a bit of a prankster and loves to mess with people and pokemon. She has a crush on Joseph the Vanilitte. Just like Joseph she shares her body with anouther soul that calls itself "The Veil of Mischife". It feeds off of Kates desires which is why she tends not to get too attached to anyone. In Joseph's case the Veil of Mischife became more active due to her disire to be with Joseph. Knowing that Joseph also has a soul called "Blind Rage" she offers Joseph some help with learning how to control his Anger.
