Don't let his appearance scare you, Tubba is a big softy who loves hugs and belly rubs. (I'm adopting him as one of my Characters)

Past: Tubba grew up in gusty gulch. The boos that lived their got a kick out of scarring Tubba because he was very sensitive. They picked on poor Tubba until one day Bowser came and promised to help him. Bowser said he would make Tubba strong, Brave and Invincible; On one condition, Tubba was asked to guard a Star Spirit for Bowser. Tubba agreed and so Bowser removed Tubba's big heart, this not only made him invincible but it also removed his sensitive nature. Tubba used his new found powers to make the boos fear him.

Mario brought an end to this by beating Tubba. At which point Tubba Spat up all the ghosts he ate and ran away crying. Tubba never returned to Gusty Gulch. And he promised never to do anymore bad things.
