Well, it would be no where cheap to buy all the materials yourself.
I would look online for classes (or school) near you. I currently attend Edinboro University of Pennsylvannia and they have a huge metals program. There are other schools that you could look into too.

Ya, i carved it out of wax first. You can't tell much here, but the ring is a bit to thick for my liking. I should've carved it thinner.
