I love the Water Temple from Ocarina of Time! It's my favorite temple and I love it because it's so challenging.
I also loved the Lakebed Temple in Twilight Princess, but this doesn't belong here.

FINALLY!!!! I've seen this picture while surfing the web so many times! Glad to have found the original artist!
I found and bought Ocarina of Time a few weeks ago, and I'm currently trying to navigate through this very dungeon, and this picture is a perfect depiction of probably everyone's feelings when trying to find their way through that cursed place. (Obviously, it's not really "cursed" cursed, but you know what I mean!)
The lighting is amazing, and Link is drawn very well; I think my favorite part of this picture is the frustrated look on his face.

For me, the only thing that makes the water temple frustrating is the fact that you have to constantly equip and de-equip the iron boots, which means you have to pause the game a lot. Other than that, it's a good dungeon and the miniboss is awesome. Thank god they made the Iron Boots an item in the 3DS remake.

I don't understand all the frustration towards this dungeon. I recently played through it for the first time and I just don't get it. I personally had more trouble with the Forest Temple.

Woooooow! I love this from the coloring of the water to Link's facial expression and body language. The Water Temple always gave me a sense of claustrophobia in that it was just like this dark dungeon with water everywhere...and tektites everywhere. This perfectly captures exactly how I'd imagined Link being there.

Man, I'm telling you, next to the Shadow Temple, the Water Temple was by far the hardest dungeon in the game. It annoyed me to no end. But, still, it was fun. I really love Ocarina of Time.

Hey, paintpixel! Nice job on the pic. The Water Temple was the worst bit in my time, and I had to put on iron boots and take them off. It was really a pain in the ass doing it every time, but i'm getting the Ocarina of Time 3D remake next week and it will be much better than the original!
