Your poem is another example of this great poetic sensibility you have . . . it's like you intuitively understand the relationship among words, both in the sense of meaning and of cadence and rhythm. This doesn't even rhyme, but it's still gorgeous, and simple . . . too much poetry both here and everywhere in general is pretentious, gloomy, and over-wordy. It's lovely to see something different, from somebody who knows what poetry should be.
