This was fun ... but it took me a loooooong time. Oy. I used many tutorials for this. Everything I used for this will be listed below shortly.

This was a Free Line Art by *Wild-Hearts (). I added the wings, cause this character of mine has wings. Halani is a brand new character, but I love her already. I had fun deciding what her markings would be. I could've done better on the legs ... but - maybe next time. I LOVE the glow effect I have on the black part of the mane, tail, the black stars, and the wing. (Wasn't about to make two wings, so let's just pretend it's there, huh?) Totally love it. The wing looks ... well, I like the color. This is my first shot at making a wing, so...there you have it. When the picture is really small the wing looks great, close up - not so much.

Edit: Ok, I don't know what happened. When I saved it in Photoshop, it distorted the purple. It's really not that light, I used a much richer purple. But whenever I try saving it, it looks like what you see here

Edit again: And it looks like I forgot to color her nostrils in with black......I need to get to bed

Ok ... weird. Now that I'm on a different computer, the color looks as it should

Yet another edit: Once I learn how to draw a decent horse and a decent set of wings, I will try to come up with a reference sheet for her. Till then...y'all are stuck with this.
